Pet Day Today was "Bring a pet"- day at Sunday school after learning all term about different animals and how we are like them or should be like them (like the busy ant). Kylie won the prize for the skinniest pet. Guess what she took? A worm! She LOVES worms - and all other creepy/crawlies and other animals - for that matter. She cries when I kill an ant. Toffee, our Golden Retriever, won the prize for the biggest animal. Jeremie took her - after he gave her a thorough clean yesterday. (He's in Sunday School as a helper/leader.) Good thing we didn't come in the first service this morning, 'cause Toffee wouldn't have won her prize. Some of the kids brought their calves :) What a pet! Yep, this is New Zealand, folks! Of course there were also lambs and the usual pets, like rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs.
