Never too late!
After my last post I thought, "Why not do something about the fact that our children don't have a strong awareness of what the Independence Day was in the USA?" So guess what we did tonight after dinner?
Right, we talked to the kids about it and then sang the American National Anthem several times. I even got the guitar out - that was given to me recently, yeah! - and we had some fun time singing some American favorites, like Yankee Doodle - mostly with Leilani. Had a great time!
Talking about the guitar given to me, it is just amazing how MANY things have been given to us lately!!! Just today Rich came home with an exercycle (guess who that's for?) he got for free. Yesterday, friends offered us a month or two supply of wood for our fireplace and before that, we were given 2 beautiful office chairs and several desks. Jeremie is sanding one desk down and revarnishing it so that he can sell it.
Today, we also finally got the last person in our family - Nathalie - a bed. She'd used one of the bunks but when we moved, Kylie started using that (she's on the bottom, Leilani on top). God has been so amazingly good to us - I guess when it rains, it pours...
Can't help but send you another photo of our cutie pie Shohan. We'll find out tomorrow what the decision of the judge was.
