What a prayer!
I came across this amazing prayer in my Bible reading. This is my adapted, modern version of Psalm 144, 12-15:
"May Jeremie flourish in his youth like a well-nurtured plant.
May Nathalie, Leilani and Kylie be like graceful pillars, carved to adorn a palace.
May our home be filled with all kinds of good things.
May our bank account multiply by the thousands, even tens of thousands,
and may our fridge be loaded down with food.
May there be no enemy breaking through our TV and computer screens,
No going into sin and debt,
No crime in our streets.
YES, joyful are we who live like this!
Joyful indeed are those whose God is the Lord."
WOW WOW WOW!!!
I'm going to start praying that for our family along with Eph.1,17-19, Eph.3,14-19 and Phil.1,9-11 - some awesome prayers!
We are going to pray up a storm for Nathalie and Jeremie, who left today for a 3-day youth camp. May their hearts be set ablaze for God and may JESUS become the passion of their lives!!!
We also had our first tears today, as Nathalie gave Shohan her last kiss. He is leaving us on Thursday, while Nathalie and Jeremie are at camp. I also choked just watching her... It's amazing how attached you get to a little baby in such a short time...
